SouthCity Soundz is a dynamic and friendly a cappella (unaccompanied) chorus performing four-part harmony in the barbershop style.

We are a group of about 30 women, from all ages, walks of life, and musical backgrounds. We love getting together and celebrating our common love for music and harmony.

We rehearse every Monday evening, so if you are interested in singing, come along and see if this group is for you!

In addition to providing our members with performance and educational opportunities, we are actively involved with schools in the Auckland area to promote the craft of barbershop in New Zealand.

Rehearsals resume on Monday 19 January, 2009. A new series of lessons will begin then. We look forward to meeting you soon!
